School of Art and Design Professor Andy Yoder’s work at the Brattleboro Museum in Vermont is featured in New York Times, Smithsonian Magazine, Sports Illustrated, and NY Observer. Andy Yoder’s exhibition “Overboard,” consists of more than 240 sculptural replicas of size 13 Air Jordan 5 shoes that have been handmade from found consumer packaging. The installation is a response to a 1990 incident wherein a container ship en route from Korea to the United States encountered a storm, and subsequently spilled 61,820 Nikes directly into the Pacific Ocean.
