23 Aug Welcome Back! Fall 2021

Fall 2021 is here!
After an unprecedented 2020, the Mason School of Art is thrilled to welcome you back to our campus both in-person and virtually. As we begin our first semester back together, we are welcoming nearly 120 new art majors! This semester, a team of over 100 faculty and staff here at the School of Art are collaborating to ensure a safe and welcoming experience both on-campus and virtually. We want to help you learn, create, and grow, no matter where you’re connecting from. For our on-campus students, we are so happy to have you back in our studio spaces, filling the halls, congregating in our classrooms, and engaging with one another. The Art and Design building was just not the same without you!
In addition to our classes, the Mason School of Art looks forward to the return of on-campus activities and exhibitions. With our students, faculty, and staff coming back to campus from different areas of the Commonwealth, the States, and even the world, we ask that everyone does their part to uphold the safety standards that George Mason University has set.
This means that every Mason School of Art student has uploaded proof of vaccination or approved exemption through the Student Health Services immunization portal, will wear face coverings correctly while on campus, and will complete the daily COVID Heath Check that comes to your Mason email address.

As we navigate this semester together, you can find updates on our website, on Instagram, and emailed directly to your Mason email address.
Here’s to a start of a great new year!
