From October 14th -16th, students and faculty from Mason’s Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program attended the Virginia Art Education Association’s (VAEA) annual conference in Virginia Beach. Dr. Justin Sutters and Dr. Hayon Park both presented papers and seven MAT Graduate Students attended a showcase with Art Supervisors from various counties in the state of Virginia. The students each were able to engage with the panel and then were individually interviewed. Both professors received excellent feedback from the Art Supervisors that our MAT students were professional, knowledgeable, and well-prepared.
Congratulations to both the faculty and students!
