George Mason Senior Art and Design Students’ Final Exhibition Opens December 6 at Art & Design Building, George Mason University, Fairfax VA.

50 students graduating with bachelor’s degrees in Art and Visual Technology present their final work in The Fall 2021 Senior Art & Design Show at George Mason University’s Gillespie Gallery of Art, Room 2046, Room 2049, and the lower-level atrium gallery in the Art & Design Building.

The exhibition opens Monday, December 6, and the gallery hours are 10 am to 5 PM Monday through Friday. The exhibition will be on view through December 10, with a closing reception from 5- 7 PM. Parking for closing reception attendees will be free in Lot A, located between the Patriot Center and across the street from the Art & Design Building.

The Exhibition is free and open to the public. Every attendee is required to fill out our COVID health check application & follow our campus face-covering policy, in which everyone, even those who are fully vaccinated, must wear a face covering when inside university property (buildings and vehicles). Over the past three months, these students have worked on their capstone project, getting feedback from each other, and collaborating with their fellow classmates to prepare for the Art & Design show. The exhibition showcases graphic design, animation, performance, drawing, printmaking, photography, painting, sculpture, and more.
