George Mason University School of Art and Northern Virginia Community College have collaborated to create The Resilience Exhibition.

Resilience comes in many forms and this past year has certainly tested our ability to adapt and persevere.

This online exhibition seeks to celebrate the creative spirit in turbulent times.

Artists from both Mason and NOVA were encouraged to share their personal narratives or social observations as they depict resilience through their chosen medium.

This is the first juried exhibition that we have collaborated on together and we are so thrilled to present it to you.

The exhibition is virtual and you can view it from March 15-24. You can view it here.

Also, please join us on March 25th at 6:00 PM, we will be having a virtual exhibition closing reception. All award winners will be announced and artists will be answering questions about their work. I will link that closer to the date! Zoom Link

Vote for the “People’s Choice Award” on the School of Art on Instagram until March 24th.
