Federica Incerti is an Assistant Professor and the Director of Technology for the Mason School of Art, the Director of Cybersecurity for the College of Visual & Performing Arts. She received her doctorate in Instructional Technology from Ohio University.

Dr. Incerti is a technologist. At the beginning of her academic career in Italy, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Art History and Ceramics. After moving to the United States in 1996 to learn English, she returned to college and earned a Computer Science degree. While working for the Office of Information Technology at Ohio University as a Computer Programmer and Software Developer, she completed her graduate degrees. Dr. Incerti started working at Mason University in her current position in July 2017.

Research Areas and Interests: Technology in Education, IoT, Smart Technologies, Artificial Intelligence, AI Voice Tutors, Security, and Classroom Technology.
