Kathleen Patricia Durkin is a multidisciplinary artist, born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. She uses printmaking, video, and installation art to ask: What don’t we talk about when we talk about “Land?” She holds a Master of Fine Art in New Media from University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and a Bachelor of Fine Art in Painting from Maryland Institute College of Art. When she isn’t teaching New Media Classes, you can find her mushroom hunting, conducting urban reptile surveys, and writing alternative Halloween Ghost Tours about corruption and land ownership in Baltimore.
