Paula Crawford is a painter, with national and international exhibitions and a Woodrow Wilson Visiting Fellow. Crawford has held exhibitions in New York, California, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia, Ohio, and Washington, as well as Peru, Paraguay, Canada, Italy, and Jordan. Crawford co-authored, with sculptor Kendall Buster, The Critique Handbook, now in its second edition and recently published in China. Crawford completed an MFA in painting at the San Francisco Art Institute, and is an alumna of the Whitney Museum of American Art Independent Study Program. She has a degree in Comparative Literature from the University of California at Berkeley, where she also held a U.C. Regents fellowship for graduate studies in Classics and Ancient Greek.
