Alix Nyden is an alumna of George Mason University, having earned a Bachelor’s in Independent Studies through the School of Integrative Studies, with concentrations in Writing, Art, and Game Design. Alix currently works at the School of Art Print shop located on the first floor of the Art and Design building, where she operates equipment and conducts business with students, faculty, and local community artists.

Alix is trained to operate and maintain the high-end printing equipment at SoAPrint, including the Canon Pro-2000 and the Pro-4000 pigmented inkjet printers. Alix has experience in using Photoshop and Adobe Acrobat for printing and can process files in InDesign for booklet printing. For her own practice, Alix has worked in C#, Unity game engine, Twine, and Clip Studio Paint. Her interest is in storytelling through the art of video game design.
